REDEMPTION ACADEMY PROGRAMME SPEED, AGILITY, STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Redemption Strength and Conditioning is far more than just a sports training facility for adult athletes. It serves as the ultimate destination for youth training, igniting the self-confidence and character development of children aged 11 and above. 

If your child has been grappling with confidence issues or finds it difficult to concentrate, then it’s time to experience the remarkable transformation that our exciting Academy Programme can deliver. At Redemption Strength and Conditioning, our programmes are thoughtfully crafted to capture the hearts of both boys and girls, all while fostering a love for fitness and unlocking their inner strengths.

Our youth training consists of two programmes that offer the foundation for speed, power, strength, and athleticism. Each programme caters to a different age group, yet they all build character and are driven by core values.

STARTING MONDAY 29TH APRIL. 

LEVEL 1 - FOUNDATION

Developmental Stage Training Ages 9-12 (Motor Skills Training, Strength, Movement Efficiency, Agility, Foundational Movement Patterns)
The window between ages 9-12 is one of the most important developmental periods for young athletes.
 
Young athletes at this age are primed to acquire general sports skills that are cornerstones of their performance.
 
Their training should be designed to take advantage of this window.
 
The Developmental Stage Training Program will begin to teach your child how to train.
 
Movements like squats, push-ups, pull-ups, and other movement patterns will be introduced while the movements from the previous program (sprints, jumping, changing direction) will be built upon.
 
This program will also introduce light resistance that your young athlete will move explosively to elicit the growth of fast twitch muscle fibers.

LEVEL 2 - DEVLOPMENT

Advancement Stage Training Program Ages 12-16 (Strength, Agility, Power, Explosiveness, and Encouraging General Athleticism)
The final program of the Youth Performance Trio is the Advancement Stage Training Program.
 
In this program, we’ll throw more novel stimulus at your young athlete in the form of more intense weight training, more advanced plyometrics, speed drills, and agility drills.
 
The emphasis, however, is on building strength to increase power and explosiveness.
We’ll do this with loaded foundational movements.
